The brief was to produce an interrogation sequence focusing on the micro- framework of 'mise-en-scene'.

We did this in a group of 6; we were given four hours which run for two/three weeks; one of them to organise, then plan and lastly to shoot it and edit (individually).

During the planning everyone was given a role. I was in charge of make/up/ costume and acting.

Doing this task I researched and looked at various interrogation scenes before planning, noting down important conventions for an interrogation sequence.

Therefore, one of the first things I learnt was the conventions that are key when doing a interrogation sequence. Secondly, I also learnt about using cinematography in a more interesting way, one of our members who was in charge of camera came up with very good shots which opened my mind into the different ways which a camera can be used.

I definitely learnt about mise-en-scene and how just a little more focus on it, can create a better more professional outcome. In addition, I noticed that there's a lot of elements that create mise-en-scene (lighting, costume, performance...) this will all help me when it comes to doing my opening sequence because I have learnt more in depth of most of the micro-frameworks to know what ir needed for it to be succesful.
