Dexter opening sequence (re-creation)

The brief was to re-create 1 minute of an opening sequence, our group chose Dexter.

This is one of the first tasks I produced. I worked in a group of 5 and I was in charge of the camera (cinematography) which was the main study focus for this production. We had two hours to plan and shoot. The editing was indivual - each member produced a different edit- for this we had 1/2 hours.

This is the link of the original Dexter video:

From this task I improved my knowledge on cinematography, how to work well with a camera and also the range of shots that make a scene.

Firstly, on the planning stage, I wrote down shot by shot, which I think it's why the whole video really does work.

We also learnt to be creative and think-outside the box for our props. I think I learnt how a group can be efficient and work-well when each member is assigned a different job things get done faster and therefore we all work better and in this task it showed that we were able to do it in the time given.

As it was the first time I analysed one the micro-frameworks (cinematography) it helped to see the effect and the difference between the variety of shots and how the editing helps to create the effect as well.

(I tried to remove the empty space at the end but every time I export it's still there)
